Pair of Art Deco elegant marble lamps with peachy glass shades
A pair of elegant table lamps with striking Art Deco round glass shades.
The bases are solid marble, but due to their vintage age were not good enough to restore.
However painting the surface to a smooth finish with fusion mineral paint has given them a new lease of life, and really shows off their symmetrical curves.
The cream colour ties in nicely with the peachy ribbed glass shades.
The round shades are original 1930’s with lovely colour detailing and form, that create gorgeous warm light.
They are in very good condition for their age, with just a few tiny patches of textured surface having fallen away from the rims. Barely noticeable though.
I have used a rope style braided cable with a copper line running along it which complements the lamp colours well.
The lamps take an E14 bulb in the brass Edison screw lamp holders which are included in the price.
There are black inline switches midway along to turn the lamp on and off with ease.
All electrical items used are new and approved by CE safety standards.
The lamp has been PAT tested.
