A lovely antique oil lamp converted to electric

  • A beautiful antique oil lamp converted into a striking table lamp.
  • The brass has been lovingly restored to a shiny golden finish and I’ve found a tall, bulbous glass chimney to complement the shape and size of the oil lamp.
  • The ceramic central part has a wonderful blue motif of a grocery store scene on both the back and front.
  • I have installed a brass bayonet cap lamp holder that takes a B22 filament candle bulb, which is included in the price.
  • The bulb produces a lovely warm glow, and a nice reflection of the glass chimney on the ceiling.
  • I’ve used an antique style gold flex, with a black inline switch midway along to turn the lamp on and off with ease.
  • Please note there are a few small cracks on the brass rim, and a few tiny scratches on the glass chimney, both reflecting their vintage age. Not very noticeable at all though.
  • All electrical items used are new and approved by CE standards.
  • The lamp has been PAT tested.
  • A surprisingly large piece, with wonderful character. It would be lovely in a kitchen/ dining area.
  • Dimensions: 19 x 62 x 19 cms
