A couple of large brass table lamps with smoked glass shades
A unique pair of large vintage brass table lamps with smoked glass globe shades.
I have restored the brass curved stems and adapted the top parts to house the striking glass globes.
The smoked glass globes sit within deep burgundy and brass galleries, with spring clips holding them in place securely.
The lamps have brass BC lamp holders with lovely spiral filaments, that are included in the price.
The filament bulbs produce a gorgeous soft, warm light within the smoked glass globes.
I have used burgundy braided flex to complement the galleries, with black inline switches midway down to turn the lamps on and off with ease.
Please note there are very slight colour variations in the brass stems and the glass globes, and there are a few small scratches on the glass globes. Neither of these characteristics detract from the overall aesthetic though.
All electrical items used are new and approved by CE safety standards.
The lamps have been PAT tested.
A striking pair of lamps due to their size and design. They would add much character and charm to a large room and provide a warm ambient light source.
They are also very much sustainable in their design and production.
