A cool mid century yellow heater converted into a floor lamp

  • A retro 1950’s yellow heater repurposed into a striking floor lamp.
  • The eye catching yellow body and the yellow ball feet are a classic retro characteristic which make the lamp perfect for a vintage lovers home.
  • I have replaced the two heating elements which sat within the two silver concave curves with lovely LED filament test tube bulbs.
  • These are in keeping with the yellow themed lamp and provide a vibrant light source whilst on.
  • The lamp has a black braided flex with a foot switch mid way along to turn the lamp on and off with ease.
  • Two silver chrome bayonet cap lamp holders sit at opposite ends of each curve to hold the bulbs.
  • The silver chrome grid protects the bulbs and is part of the classic heater design.
  • Please note there is a bit of paint damage to the yellow top section of the body (see photo), but nothing too detrimental to the overall aesthetic.
  • All electrical items used are UKCA approved.
  • The lamp has been PAT tested.
  • Perfect for a redundant fireplace, to provide light and character, and a feeling of warmth.
  • Dimensions: 42 x 43 x 18 cms
