1940’s Art Deco nautical table lamps with green glass bases

  • A unique pair of table lamps made from Art Deco nautical wall sconces and green glass upturned bowls.
  • The beautiful shades would have originally been inset into internal walls on luxury cruise liners in the 1940’s.
  • They have distinctive round chrome plated metal frames that hold the domed, sunburst patterned opaline glass shades.
  • I have restored the lamps and painted the metal casings to a smooth finish with a pale grey, with a hint of green.
  • The shades have been mounted on elegant silver chrome stems that are then connected to the striking green glass bases.
  • The upturned Art Deco glass serving bowls add some colour and character to the overall unique design.
  • I have used white braided twisted flex to complement the lamp colours and there are white inline switches midway along to turn the lamps on and off with ease.
  • The lamps have brass bayonet cap lamp holders and there are two warm white LED light bulbs included in the price.
  • All electrical items used are new and approved by UKCA safety standards.
  • The lamps are PAT tested.
  • Dimensions: 20 x 42 x 15 cms
  • Perfect for a stylish bedroom, the lamps emit a lovely soft light source through the white opaline glass shades. Truly unique.
