I have fully restored the gorgeous octagonal stepped chrome plated metal.
The curved stem has an adjustable knob at the top to raise and lower the shade to a range of approximately 180 degrees.
The lovely vintage glass shade has an angled bottom that works well with the character of the lamp, and has a nice black and red pattern graphic motif.
It is an original 1930s item, so there are small traces of the odd ding and scrape, but I think these just add to its character.
I have added a black wooden base plate, to add a bit more weight and substance.
The lamp has been rewired with a braided black flex and a new push button switch has been added to the base to turn the lamp on and off.
The lamp has been PAT tested.
A lovely, classic silver chrome design from this era, perfect for an office desk, or anywhere that needs a nice soft light.
