Pair of vintage ochre ceramic lamps

  • A sweet pair of ochre mid century ceramic table lamps.
  • I found these lovely glazed ceramic lamp bases which were the starting point for this pair of unique lamps.
  • They are intriguing shapes, reminiscent of boats, or clogs, or some kind of vessels.
  • I used some brass parts from a chandelier to make masts for them and then some lovely vintage glass ochre lamp shades complete the design.
  • They have a wonderful vibrant and warm colour whilst on, but also a lovely classic retro colour when off.
  • The lamps have brass bayonet cap lamp holders, with two B22 light bulbs that are included in the price.
  • I’ve used a braided light brown flex with the design to enhance the mid century style, with black inline switches mid way down.
  • The lamps have been PAT tested and approved.
  • All electrical items used are new and approved by CE safety standards.
  • Truly unique and full of character, they would make wonderful bedside lamps.
  • Dimensions: 16 x 31 x 12 cms each
