A pair of Briticent gripper vintage spot lamps

  • A pair of green 1950’s Briticent Gripper hand lamps.
  • The lamps have never been used for their intended industrial purpose, so they are in very good condition for their age.
  • The bodies are made from a lovely forest green Bakelite material, with a silver chrome cage surrounding the filament bulbs.
  • I have rewired the lamps with an eye catching neon green braided flex to give the lamps a more domestic and contemporary feel.
  • The lamps are very versatile, they can clip onto anything and provide a good light source for working or reading.
  • The silver cages produce a nice effect at night, providing rings of orange light.
  • The lamps take B22 bayonet cap light bulbs. The filament ones in the photos are included in the price. They provide a lovely warm light.
  • There is a black inline switch midway along the neon flex to turn the lamps on and off with ease.
  • The lamps have been PAT tested and approved.
  • Perfect for an office or bedroom, to add a bit of vintage character and a splash of colour.
