A couple of antique brass carriage lamps with white and golden glass shades
A lovely pair of antique brass carriage lamps with vintage white and gold glass shades.
I have fully restored the lamps and converted them to electric. They formerly would have been oil lamps in a train carriage.
The lovely shiny textured brass is complemented with the cylindrical glass shades that sit perfectly on top.
The shades have a lovely shine to the inside and produce a really warm light source. They are secured with shade rings.
The lamps have brass SES lamp holders with two E14 LED bulbs included in the price.
I have used black braided twisted flex to complement the antique nature of the lamps. There are black inline switches midway along to turn the lamps on and off with ease.
Please note there are a few small marks on the glass shades, which tell of their age, not very noticeable though.
All electrical items used are new and approved by CE safety standards.
The lamps are PAT tested.
Perfect bedside lighting. They have such a lovely shine and a touch of class.
