A couple of copper jelly mould lamps with beautiful antique glass shades
A pair of unique table lamps made from gorgeous vintage jelly moulds and antique glass shades.
The copper coloured aluminium jelly moulds have lovely bumpy round shapes on the top and fluted sides. Their colour and shine make for perfect lamp bases.
I placed brass galleries in the centre of each mould to house the beautiful, delicate glass shades.
These create lovely reflections of the bumpy surfaces too.
Please note there are a few small marks on the moulds, due to their vintage age, but nothing detrimental to the design.
The clear glass is very old and has some lovely undulations within that enhance the filament candle bulbs.
The shades slot into the brass parts and are secured with shade rings.
Both lamps have SES brass lamp holders and the E14 filament bulbs are included in the price.
I’ve used striking gold braided flex to enhance the already warm hues of the lamps and there are black inline switches midway along to turn the lamps on and off with ease.
All electrical items used are new and approved by UKCA safety standards.
The lamps have been PAT tested.
A wonderful pair of characterful lamps that create a lovely warm, golden light source. Perfect for bedside lighting.
