Camera tripod floor lamp with unique vintage features

  • A unique tripod lamp with lovely vintage design features.
  • The 1960’s tripod is beautifully made with extendable brass legs, nice little rubber feet and unusual leather upper parts.
  • These features tie in nicely with the Bell & Howell cine camera that sits on the top.
I have repurposed the no longer functioning camera into a light source, with the silver chrome lamp holder replacing the lens.
  • The filament bulb gives a lovely warm glow and enhances the vintage character of the piece.
  • To hold the tripod legs together I have bolted a round, shapely brass part within the centre, with a small black snooker ball sitting on top. This continues the vintage theme of the lamp and also acts as an interesting harness for the flex.
  • I’ve used a striking red braided cable to complement the touches of red on the tripod and camera.
  • I’ve also added a black push switch on the top of the camera to turn the lamp on and off with ease.
  • Please note there are are a few small marks on the camera and tripod telling of their age. Just adds to the character.
  • The E14 filament bulb is included in the price.
  • All electrical items used are new and approved by CE safety standards.
The lamp has been PAT tested.
  • Brimming with character and vintage charm this lamp would delight a movie lover. Perfect for an office or warehouse living.
  • Dimensions: 130 x 35 x 35 cms
