A converted antique opaline glass oil lamp

  • A beautiful opaline glass oil lamp converted to a table lamp.
  • The base is made from white milk glass with lovely swirling patterns on the top and sides.
  • The ornate brass section has been fully restored and converted to electric with a brass bayonet cap lamp holder. There is a B22 bulb included in the purchase.
  • The brass shade ring houses the opaline glass cowl and the original etched clear glass chimney. Please note there is a small chip missing on the rim of the cowl, see last photo, though it cannot be seen once installed on the brass ring.
  • I have used a black braided twisted flex which is in keeping with its 1940’s origin, and an inline switch mid way along to turn the lamp on and off with ease.
  • All electrical items used are new and approved by CE safety standards.
  • The lamp has been PAT tested.
  • A very elegant, tall, shiny shaped antique lamp which emits a lovely warm glow.
  • Dimensions: 26 x 60 x 26 cms.
