A beautiful opaline glass oil lamp converted to a table lamp.
The base is made from white milk glass with lovely swirling patterns on the top and sides.
The ornate brass section has been fully restored and converted to electric with a brass bayonet cap lamp holder. There is a B22 bulb included in the purchase.
The brass shade ring houses the opaline glass cowl and the original etched clear glass chimney. Please note there is a small chip missing on the rim of the cowl, see last photo, though it cannot be seen once installed on the brass ring.
I have used a black braided twisted flex which is in keeping with its 1940’s origin, and an inline switch mid way along to turn the lamp on and off with ease.
All electrical items used are new and approved by CE safety standards.
The lamp has been PAT tested.
