A unique and playful cabinet made from salvaged antique drawers and a reclaimed wooden croquet set.
The 4 croquet clubs comprise the structure of the piece, with a solid pine top, bottom and back.
The top has a decorative finish, using the markers from the croquet set.
The cabinet has been painted a Slate Grey with a satin finish.
The drawers have been painted alternate colours, matching the colours of the croquet set.
They have gorgeous brass features and each one is numbered with an ivory disc (bar one, that I had to replace with a wooden disc)
The design is a meeting of two very different contexts, but I think combine to provide a one-off piece that has its own identity and quirkiness.
Perfect for a croquet enthusiast, or an office that needs a bit of style and colour, or a child’s bedroom.
Please note the drawers have a certain amount of wear and tear, that I think just enhances their character, and the numbered drawers don’t run in sequence. Number 23 is missing!
