Copper dolly plunger lamp with an opaline glass shade
A unique Art Deco style copper dolly plunger table lamp.
I love these vintage objects, they are the perfect shape and character for a lamp base.
I have shined the copper but please note there are signs of age on the surface and a few small dents (see photos), all in keeping with its history and function.
I have added a brass section, then a fluted brass effect section that holds the lovely vintage white ribbed shade.
The long vessel like shade provides a lovely contrast with the metal surfaces and produces a warm light. Please not there is a very small chip on the top of the rim, that has been glued back (see photo). It is barely noticeable though, especially if you have it at the back of the lamp.
I have used a lovely light brown braided cable with a black inline switch midway along to turn the lamp on and off.
The lamp has a brass bayonet cap lamp holder and a B22 light bulb is included in the price.
All electrical items used are new and approved by CE safety standards.
The lamp has been PAT tested.
