An upcycled baby blue and silver table lamp
A unique silver and blue dolly plunger table lamp.
I have made this lamp using repurposed objects to produce an unusual lamp with unique character.
The sky blue metal body contains an upturned vintage aluminium dolly plunger.
An interesting object with the holes and traces of age. This sits flush with the top of the blue body.
There is a convex magnifying lense covering the dolly plunger, that creates interesting optical distortions when looking through it, and reflects the filament bulb nicely.
The base is made from a toughened glass lamp shade that completes the curvy forms of the lamp.
I have used a light blue braided flex which complements the design, with a black inline switch midway along to turn the lamp on and off.
The silver chrome Edison screw lamp holder takes a E27 filament globe bulb, which is included in the price.
All electrical items used are new and approved by CE safety safety standards.
The lamp has been PAT tested.
A unique lamp, made from sustainable objects that have a history and now create a new story of their own. The bulb provides a nice warm glow.
